At Opunake Hydro we build our services around the needs of New Zealand businesses. To make your bill super straight forward we bill from the first of the month to the end of the month, so there’s no need for messy monthly accruals. We email your bill with the essential information about each of your sites or you can login to ‘My account’ and get the detailed information.



We email your bill information by the 10th of the month, and then your direct debit payment kicks in on the 20th.

We keep it simple


We owe it to customers to be completely transparent with our billing and pricing. We will show you exactly what is charged by Opunake Hydro for your energy usage and the charges from your lines company and the Electricity Authority. It’s all about being straight forward. 

Monitor your energy usage


With ‘My Account’ you can view all your previous bills and monitor your business’ energy use over time. More online developments are planned for the next few months so you’ll be able to download your billing information and analyse your invoices whichever way suits your business.
